Growing up in four different countries, so, four different political systems, gave me an early insight into leadership. In all four cases, the leadership of the time eventually failed. Military takeover, the fragmentation of a republic, independence from British rule and the fall of a president, all of them failed. Those were macro situations, but they all had useful lessons that can be applied now.
I founded my company in 1989 to promote leadership and provide leadership and management development for a wide range of organisations; companies as varied as Pepsi Cola, the Prison Service, the Church of England and the MoD. More recently, I worked in safety leadership, helping people to change their attitudes to safety in heavy industries. My most exciting gig was on construction sites in south-west Russia.
Nowadays, my commitment is to support smaller businesses that want to grow safely. They have been busy building successful enterprises that have achieved a critical point at which enthusiasm and hard work are not going to be enough for the future. To grow safely, they need to have purpose driven leadership and a culture that will sustain their growth, nurture their people and fulfil their purpose.

Hello, I’m Hannah and I am a funeral celebrant. My job is to help families say goodbye to their loved ones in the most meaningful and personal way to them.
Like most funeral celebrants I have come to this in a roundabout way via a career in finance, IT and, more recently, owning and running my own pet shop. Helping families over the last four years has been the most fulfilling and rewarding thing I have done, and I am honoured to work with funeral directors, leading funerals and helping families say goodbye.
A funeral is more than just part of the grieving process. It is a ritual steeped in tradition and I believe celebrating the life and saying goodbye to a loved one, and sharing these difficult moments with others, helps us come to terms with the loss.
